The driver's working day in the app
Logistics software is only as good as it is for the person in the cab. This is how Frakteren is designed from the driver's side: few taps, clear notifications and no double entry.
It is easy to build a system that looks good on a large screen in the office. It is harder to make something that works with cold fingers in a storage yard in November. Yet that is where it is decided whether the system actually gets used.
A notification instead of a phone call
When something happens with a job that concerns you, you get a push notification on your phone. You don't have to check your inbox between runs, and the office doesn't have to call to make sure the message was seen.
Everything you need in one place
The job contains what the person ordering has entered: what is being moved, where to collect it, where to deliver it and when. The better the order is filled in, the fewer calls you need to make along the way – which is why we encourage people placing orders to be precise.
Status in a few taps
When you update the status of the job, the person who ordered it sees it immediately. That is the whole report. No driving logs to hand in on Friday, no text messages to three different people.
What drivers tend to appreciate most
- Fewer interruptions while driving.
- The same format for every order, whoever entered it.
- A history that speaks for them if questions come up later.
If updating the system takes longer than sending a text, the text wins. So the app has to be the fastest option.
Available where you are
Frakteren is available both on the web and as a mobile app, with the same login. The office works in the browser, the driver on the phone, and both see the same jobs.
